SP Kiran Poduval to be felicitated on Goa Liberation Day

On the occasion of Goa Liberation Day, Superintendent of Police (SP) Kiran J Poduval was presented with the President’s Police Medal by Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant at the State-level Liberation Day celebrations at Goa University grounds. On July 26, 1990, SP Poduval began working for the Goa Police Department as a Police Sub-Inspector after completing a year of fundamental training at the

Maharashtra Police Academy in Nasik. In May 1991, he graduated with honours, placing first among the recently hired PSIs from the Goa Police and eighth overall. On Goa Liberation Day 2012, Poduval received the Chief Minister’s Police (Gold) Medal for Meritorious Service in recognition of a number of accomplishments. On December 20, 2021, Goa Police Raising Day, he received the DGP’s Insignia for Excellence in Service.
