Nitin Kunkolienkar appointed as Chairman Advisory Council and Mentor of Manufacturers Association for Information Technology (MAIT)

Nitin Kunkolienkar has been recently appointed as Chairman of the Advisory Council and Mentor of the Manufacturers Association for Information Technology (MAIT), Delhi. This esteemed position is a testament to his exceptional leadership and significant contributions to the information technology sector.

Kunkolienkar has a distinguished career marked by numerous achievements and leadership roles. He was the longest-serving President of MAIT from 2017 to 2022 and served as President Emeritus from 2022 to 2024. His tenure at MAIT was characterized by remarkable growth and innovation, positioning the association as a pivotal force in the IT industry.

In addition to his accomplishments at MAIT, Kunkolienkar has held various prominent positions, including:
• Former President (2001-05 and 2005-09) of the Goa Chamber of Commerce and Industry, where he was the youngest and longest-serving President, elected consecutively for three terms.
• Director of organizations such as Synegra EMS Limited, Attort Legal Consultancy Pvt. Ltd., and EP Biocomposites Ltd.
• Founder Director of EPIC – Electronic Products Innovation Consortium – Bangalore, aimed at enabling design-led growth in India.

Earlier he has served as Director of Economic Development Corporation Ltd, Goa, Vice Chairman from 2005-2012, Director of Goa Industrial Development Corporation, Goa State Pollution Control Board, and a member of the Professional Management Group created by the Honorable Chief Minister of Goa.

Kunkolienkar’s numerous accolades and awards, including the National Business Leadership Award, Joycees Creed Award, Best Manager of the Year by Goa Management Association, Ten Outstanding Young Individuals Award, underscore his dedication and excellence.
