
In celebration of the 75th anniversary of the Constitution of India, a State-Level School Quiz competition will be held across multiple cities, focusing on the journey, landmark occasions, leaders, and pivotal moments related to the Indian Constitution. The city rounds will take place on 25th January 2025, Saturday, at the following locations: PANAJI: People’s High School, Mala
MAPUSA: G.S. Amonkar Vidya Mandir, Feira Alto
MARGAO: Mahila & Nutan High School, Comba
VASCO: Murgao Mutt Sankul, F.L. Gomes Road
PONDA: GVM’s GGPR College, Farmagudi.
“The quiz promises to be an exciting and informative event aimed at instilling a deeper understanding of India’s Constitution among young minds, as well as encouraging intellectual engagement with one of the country’s most significant documents,” said quizmaster Harshvardhan Bhatkuly who is facilitating this 5 city quiz event.
Participation Guidelines: The quiz is open to teams of two students from the same school, for students in classes 7th to 10th.
Schools may send as many teams as they wish to participate.
Students must carry their school identity card, board, and pen for participation.
Each participant will receive a certificate of participation.
Preliminary Round on 25th January will comprise of a 25-question Fill-in-the-Blank (FITB) paper. No negative marks. Duration: 15 minutes. The top 10 teams will proceed to the pre-semi final round which will be a 15-question FITB paper. No negative marks. Duration: 10 minutes. The top 3 teams from each city will advance to the State Semi-Final on 30th January 2025 to be held at Institute Menezes Braganza, Panaji.
City Round Winners will receive Merit Certificates for the top 3 teams. All finalists will receive a memento. The Top 3 teams will be awarded a cash prize along with a trophy.
