Chef Jason DeSouza will launch his new restaurant in Candolim, White Plate this month. For Chef Jason, a white plate represents endless opportunities to create, innovate and captivate the senses with gastronomical delights; and he has chosen to name his first restaurant in Goa after his muse. Chef Jason started his culinary experience with the Taj Group of hotels with a passion for food and the gastronomic world.
A graduate from Le Cordon Bleu – London, Jason refined his skills in the renowned kitchens of Gordon Ramsay and Alain Ducasse, two members of the culinary elite. Back home, he contributed to the creation of a number of high-end hospitality companies with a flair that has become Jason’s trademark. His goal is to offer top-notch culinary experiences along with the nostalgic flavours of our own backyards to Goa in order to create the ultimate fine-dining experience. “True fine dining is more than merely combining trendy techniques and ingredients to make something look appealing. Above all else, it is an experience”, he claims.
