The Health Minister, Vishwajit Rane said that the plasma therapy treatment on COVID-19 patients will start in the state from the coming week.
He stated that the state government has already sanctioned the money required to acquire the necessary machine needed for plasma therapy.
So far, the state has reported 1903 COVID-19 confirmed cases, with 1156 having recovered and eight deaths.
Rane stated that currently there are 106 COVID-19 asymptomatic patients admitted in ESI hospital at Margao, who are being given the best possible treatment.
