Sanjana Prabhugaonker gets selected in Indian Junior Swimming Squad for South Africa

Goan swimmer Sanjana Prabhugaonker  has been selected in the TEAM INDIA junior swimming squad for a high performance camp which will involve joint  training exposure with  swimmers in South Africa and will be  participating at South African National Aquatic Championship in April.

Swimming federation of India in association with South Africa Swimming   with the support from Ministry of Youth Affairs and sports Government of India has initiated this training program from 17th March to 17th April 2022 at Johannesburg, South Africa. The training camp is scheduled for a month under the guidance of top level South Africa coaches and accompanying Indian coaches in Johannesburg -South Africa.

At the end of the training program Indian junior swimming squad will be participating in open national swimming championship at Port Elizabeth, South Africa in April 22.

Sanjana Prabhugaonker is currently undergoing professional training in ANSA – Aqua Nation Sports Academy at Swiss international scientific school in Dubai UAE under the guidance of Coach Shri Pradeep Kumar.

The 16 member Indian Junior Squad departed for South Africa from Mumbai on 17thMarch , having 6 boys and  8 girls  in the age group of 15-17 across India and are accompanied by Indian coaches Majumder Partha Pratim and Arithial Candoth Jayarajan .
