Goa Marriott Resort and Spa appoints Sandeep Kaul as the Director of Operations. With strong experience and knowledge in the hospitality industry, Sandeep will be responsible for setting up the overall operations of the 190 rooms, food and beverage, and spa division of the resort.
Sandeep will be in charge of hotel operations, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, enhancing customer experiences, maximizing hotel revenue, developing innovative cost-effective strategies, and achieving award-winning excellence with his team.
On the appointment, Gaurav Apte, General Manager, Goa Marriott Resort and Spa, said “We are delighted to have Sandeep in our team. With his extensive experience in this industry, he will bring a dynamic approach to the guest experience and the resort. Our luxury Goa beach resort combines award-winning hospitality with relaxing hotel services and is located on the edge of Miramar Beach with views of the Arabian Sea and Mandovi River.”
Sandeep brings to the table over 18 years of extensive experience in the hospitality sector, having worked with well-known brands both domestically and overseas such as JW Marriott Bengaluru Prestige Golfshire Resort and Spa, Sheraton Colombo Hotel, Indore Marriott Hotel, The Westin Pune, Renaissance Hotel and Convention Centre, Mumbai, Taj President Mumbai, Le Meridien, Kochi, Courtyard Mumbai, Courtyard Chennai (task force) and many more.
As the first Marriott property in India, he aims at aligning the resort’s operations to provide great guest experiences.
When not working, he enjoys playing cricket, driving cars, watching films, and spending time with his family.
