What started out as a modest quiz has now become a quiz that is coveted in the business and tech space. In its 7th edition, the Tangentia Jigyasa Quiz is a contest poised to highlight and reward the smartest minds in technology and business, including students.
Positioned as a networking event and knowledge showcase, the quiz is catered to those interested in tech and business.
In its initial years, the quiz witnessed mostly localised participation and a limited number of national teams coming in as well. However in 2019, the Tangentia Jigyasa Quiz established itself nationally with its prelims in 6 cities in India and 100+ teams participating.
This year in its 7th edition the Tangentia Jigyasa Quiz has expanded its horizon, and in line with its title sponsor, Tangentia’s mission of increasing the adoption of technology across all business, it will be hosting its prelims virtually on 22nd April and will follow it up with a grand on-ground finale in Goa India on 13th May 2023.
‘Pique your Curiosity’ is the theme for this year’s quiz, which encourages participants to explore more and newer
facets across business and technology. Explaining the theme, quiz master Vijay Thomas, CEO and Founder of Tangentia said “Knowledge is not finite, it can always be built on and in order to build it, one has to always stay curious. We also chose the feline family to be a representative of this continuous curiosity, because it wasn’t curiosity that killed the cat, it was worry!”
Last year, the quiz finals were held in Goa on March 26th, 2022, wherein Team Barclays represented by Meghashyam Shirodkar and Rohan Khanna were declared winners. They took home a Grand Prize of `1,50,000 in addition to 5,000 FOHO Coins and 5 days – 4 night stay by Tripvillas.
The first runners up Sai Mitra won `75,000, along with 5000 FOHO Coins, 3 days – 2 night stay by Tripvillas. The second runners up Siemens won `25,000 along with 3000 FOHO Coins, 2 days – 1 night stay by Tripvillas. All winners also received a Rs 5,000/- and gift cards from retail chain, CMM Arena.
