Parrikar chairs Investment Promotion Board meeting

Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar chaired meeting of Investment Promotion Board (IPB) at his private residence at Dona Paula on 30th Oct. The meeting was attended by Tourism Minister Manohar Ajgaonkar, Revenue Minister Rohan Khaunte and other officials of the state government. “Chief Minister chaired the Goa IPB meeting today to further discuss and approve projects before the board. Seven proposals were approved by the board which would bring in an investment to the tune of ₹230 crores and create employment for 400 people in the state,” the CMO tweeted.

Speaking to reporters after emerging out of the meeting, Goa Revenue Minister Rohan Khaunte said that meeting was held and all the proposals which were there were discussed and brought to logical conclusion. He said the meeting was part of continuation of the meeting held earlier (17 Oct).

The Opposition Congress party, meanwhile, has raised questions about the legality of the meeting
