India’s premier real estate networking event was held in Goa, drawing quality audience and participants who delved deep to discuss the sector’s future
National Association of Realtors (NAR)-India, the foremost association for real estate professionals in the country, announced the conclusion of its 16th Annual Real Estate Convention, NARVIGATE 2024, held from February 29th to March 2nd in Goa. The event saw the largest congregation of real estate professionals, attracting over 1200 visionaries, thought leaders, industry experts from India and the world.
Annually, the NAR India Convention experiences a noteworthy surge in investments across diverse sectors, solidifying its standing as a driving force for economic expansion. This gathering leaves a distinct impact by generating numerous job opportunities both locally and nationwide, underscoring its pivotal role in shaping Goa’s and India’s economic terrain.
Distinguished figures from the government, regulatory bodies, and the real estate industry engaged in insightful discussions, emphasising the pivotal role of the real estate sector in shaping India’s economic landscape.
Former Union Minister, Suresh Prabhu, addressed the audience, stressing that “Real estate acts as the bedrock fortifying the Indian economy, with a forward-thinking government. Such gatherings play a pivotal role in nurturing heightened business activities and sector-specific transactions.”
Mauvin Godinho, Minister of Transport, and Industries, who was the Special Guest, said “Goa is emerging as a focal point in the Real Estate sector. I applaud organisations like Goa Association of Realtors (GAR) and NAR-India for seizing this growth potential and organising such a large-scale event. NAR-India solidified its commitment to global cooperation by announcing Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) with international associations, including the Northeast Florida Association of REALTORS® (USA), Greater Bergen REALTORS® (USA), and the Thai Real Estate Sales and Marketing Association (Thailand). These partnerships aim to enhance business development, education, awareness among real estate professionals globally. Goa Institute of Management was the Education partner along with the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors as Industry Partner.
Insights into Goan Realty Market: The convention explored the Goan real estate market, trends, dynamics, and investment opportunities. Experts from various industries shared valuable insights.
Industry Thought Leaders: Rohit Gera, Managing Director of Gera Developers; and Sam Chopra delivered thought-provoking talks on the future of real estate, innovation, and challenges.
Recognising Excellence: The event culminated in an awards ceremony acknowledging the outstanding contribution of individuals across various fields. A motivational session with Ashutosh Rana, renowned actor and motivational speaker, titled ‘Transforming Adversity into Opportunity,’ was held.
Exclusive Networking and Business Matchmaking: The convention facilitated exclusive networking sessions and business matchmaking events, providing interaction among brokers, developers, landlords, investors, bankers, potential clients, and partners. Joint Effort by National Association of Realtors India (NAR-India) and Goa Association of Realtors (GAR) results in ground-breaking Industrial Real Estate and Warehousing Conclave
NAR-India and GAR joined forces to organize a first ever Real Estate and Warehousing Conclave in Goa, marking a significant milestone in the industry with an additional day for participants.
The 16th NAR-INDIA National Convention served as the ideal backdrop. For the first time, the world’s leading Fund, Blackstone and one of the biggest warehousing companies of the world, Prologis were part of the conclave along with Goa Industrial Development Corporation and many other leading warehouse and logistics brands.
The conclave on 29th February 2024 featured:
