JGI Metal Convertors Pvt Ltd, a derivative of Jai Ganesh Ispat Group, serves as a prominent steel service centre and distribution partner for JSW Steel Limited for the Western and Southern India, with a particular focus on Goa,
Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, and Andhra Pradesh. Established in September 2022, JGI Metal Convertors aims to expand the Group’s geographical reach within Southern India. Based in Sri City, Andhra Pradesh, the company caters to a diverse range of industries, including automotive, appliance, infrastructure, solar, oil, panel, and packaging, providing bespoke steel products.
The JGI Group, in conjunction with senior management from JSW Steel Ltd., identified the burgeoning need for premium steel products in the southern market. Recognising a significant demand for high-quality steel in the Southern Indian market, the JGI Group, in collaboration with JSW Steel Ltd., initiated its inaugural Greenfield project: a state-of-the-art fully equipped world class steel coil processing centre in Sri City. This facility offers comprehensive services, encompassing slitting (CRS), cut-to-length (CTL), blanking, profiling, customised packaging, and warehousing, ensuring precision, efficiency, and just-in-time delivery. With a core belief in the importance of a skilled workforce, coupled with advanced technology, contemporary systems, and cutting-edge equipment, the JGI Group strives to deliver exceptional customer service.
The company’s established reputation enables it to serve end-users requiring highly customised solutions, punctual deliveries, precise specifications, and guaranteed service with lean management. Globally, steel is distributed to end-users through steel distribution houses and steel coil processing service centres. Currently, JGI Group meets the steel requirements of prominent clients, including IFB (Goa and Bangalore), Daikin, Bluestar, Havells, Voltas, Marubeni Itochu, Amber, Dixon, Samsung, Epack, Johnson Lifts, Obo Bettermann and many others.
