Goa State Industries Association recently organised a workshop on employee engagement and people management that was held on 31st October at GSIA Conference Hall, Panjim. It was a half day event with interactive sessions that stressed on the meaning of employee engagement, HR systems and processes, understanding expectations of employees at workplace, approaches by managers to employee engagement, employee engagement drivers and activities and providing transformational leadership. In addition, few case studies and discussions were also held. The session was made interesting by the speaker by conducting short interactive activities and group discussions.
In addition, GSIA will be organising a one-day program on “Six Sigma and Seven QC Tools” on 14th November 2018. The workshop will cover the SIPOC Approach, DMAIC Principle, Industrial Statistics, Process Capability Study and 7 Quality Control Tools along with an interactive session.
The course is intended for production and quality department executive, team leaders, managers, entrepreneurs and who want to know about six sigma strategy and 7 QC tools.
