GOVERNOR RELEASES BOOK PENNED BY DGP GOA.

The Governor, P.S. Sreedharan Pillai launched the book titled ‘Financial Technology (FinTech) and Digital Banking in India’ penned by Jaspal Singh, IPS, Director General of Police., Goa.

The book launch ceremony was organised by the Goa Chamber of Commerce and Industry at the International Centre Goa, Dona Paula.

After the book release ceremony, the Governor praising the work of the police force said, law enforcement officials mostly fulfill the duty entrusted to them by law, by serving the community and by protecting all persons. Good police officers are the wealth of the nation.

Unlike a common citizen who can approach the court in case of character assassination, the Prime Minister, President, Vice President, and Ministers have to be represented by public prosecutors the Governor added.

The Governor congratulated the author of the book for his minor observations of digital transactions and informed the crowd about the safety solutions cited in the book.

Jaspal Singh, DGP Goa expressed his happiness and said, it was just an internal urge to acquire knowledge and pass it on to others in the form of a book. Finance is a very conservative subject, he added.

Speaking on the book Shri Jaspal Singh said, that it will throw light on various aspects pertaining to financial transactions in a simple way to the common man. This will help people to understand financial fraud in a proper manner and know more about the right methods of digital payments.

Earlier,  Ralph de Sousa, President of GCCI gave the welcome address. Nitin Kunkolienkar, Past President, of GCCI introduced the author of the book.  Sanjay Amonkar, Director General compered and proposed a vote of thanks.
