Government invites public suggestions for Goa Budget 2024-25

The Goa government has invited ideas and suggestions from citizens to be included in the State Budget 2024-25, to present a pro-people and development-oriented budget that caters to every individual.

Citizens are requested to submit their inputs at https://goabudget.gov.in or https://goaonline.gov.in/budget and contribute to the budget-making process. For any issues, they can reach out to 8882988000.

The Chief Minister, Dr Pramod Sawant has requested the public to contribute to building a budget that reflects the requirements of every Goan.

Meanwhile, representatives of various sectors like tourism, finance, agriculture, and hospitality, submitted their suggestions to the Chief Minister as part of ongoing pre-budget consultations. Also, suggestions regarding taxation, taxi issues, visa on arrival, and loans were submitted to the government by the stakeholders.

Sawant assured that his government aims to go digital and offer most services online to increase the happiness index of the State. Dr Sawant will present his fifth State budget during the brief session of the State Legislative Assembly session starting on February 2.
