The team of Goa Management Association (GMA) led by Amin Ladak, Chairman, called upon industry leader and newly appointed president of All India Management Association (AIMA), Shrinivas Dempo to congratulate him for having taken over the leadership role at the nation’s apex body of management professionals.
“It is a matter of pride for us at GMA that Dempo has been called upon to lead AIMA – the topmost body of management professionals that is constantly advising the nation’s leaders and chalking out a path for new management ideas that are adopted by industry and society. This is the first time a Goan has been called to grace this prestigious office,” said Ladak.
“AIMA is a thought leader and the talent pool of the organisation is the bedrock of India’s reputation as a knowledge economy. At AIMA we are constantly engaging with top-notch ideas that will propel India’s growth. Our key strength lies in the people – a galaxy of industry leaders and academicians who have made the nation proud. As an industrialist with a keen eye on education, I would want to keep the focus strong on industry-academia connect,” said Dempo.
“Having Dempo at the helm of affairs at AIMA, will help GMA to expand its imprint in Goa with industry and management institutes,” said Deepak Bandekar, Chairman elect of Goa Management Association, who will be taking over from Ladak in mid-October.
The other members who were part of the GMA delegation included Harshvardhan Bhatkuly (past Chairman of GMA) and executive committee members, Ghanashyam Halkar and CA Rohan Bhandare.
