Spark+ Technologies has launched “Digital Baila mobile App for SHG (Self Help Group) recently and is planning to go live in Q1 2020 all across Goa for SHG in collaboration with RDA-DRDA.
Digital Baila is a initiative of Spark+ Technologies. It is a local start-up that offers various services, innovations, and opportunities for local people, women, and students in Goa. It was founded by Sudesh Sangelkar, he was born and brought up in Siolim, and now based in the USA.
The aim was to create a platform (Women of Goa) where the local women can sharpen their skills via training, or through internships, or promote services, and sell or promote products, arts, and crafts that are made locally.
The tech team in Goa is lead by co-founder Ramakant Samant and engaged in developing, deploying, and supporting Digital Baila – Platform to empower local women by promoting their Talent, Product, and Services.
GCCI Women’s Wing has been working at developing the spirit of enterprise among Goan women since 2005. This platform consisting of women entrepreneurs from diverse fields not only encourages women to be entrepreneurs but also helps existing business women to take their businesses to higher levels.
The MOU signed between SparkreX Technologies Private Limited and GCCI agree that they shall work together:
- To implement DIGITAL BAILA Project initiative across Goa and empower women community.
- To help women to be self-independent by providing them required support and connecting with right entities which can help them to grow.
- To create a common platform which can connect Self Help Groups & Women entrepreneurs to empower & help them to grow together.
