The Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS) held its 34th Annual Management Education Convention, during which Dr Ajit Parulekar, Director of Goa Institute of Management (GIM), was bestowed with the AIMS RCM Best B School Director Award. The convention was held at PSG Institute of Management, Coimbatore, last month. Dr Parulekar has proficiency in fields such as Understanding Consumer Behaviour, Creating and Managing Brands and Health Economics. He has taught at several prominent institutions such as IIM Rohtak, Antwerp Management School, Belgium; among others. In 2013, He was at the forefront in setting up the Health Care Management program at GIM. Dr Parulekar has consulted with various corporations and departments of the Government of Goa, Indiapost, United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, and many private sector organisations. Dr Parulekar has authored several books, book chapters, cases and journal articles and has won 2 best paper awards.
