FINDING YOUR BLISS

Paul Chadda speaks about his brand Blissspace, his vision that gave birth to something that he nurtured, and along with his team, has grown to be what it is today – a respected name in the modular furniture space

Blissspace provides a complete turnkey service for homeowners, turning their dreams into reality.

The company, which caters to all tastes and budgets, was founded on the philosophy of not only building kitchens,
but crafting the heart of your home. Whilst it is not solely restricted to modular kitchens but much more, is a one of a kind entrepreneurial venture in Goa.

Paul Chadda, has helped many homeowners and businesses, add value to their kitchen spaces and often enough their entire interiors to include wardrobes, bathrooms, living spaces and more, adding that profound wow factor to their spaces.

Paul moved to Goa around 14 years ago. After doing small scale projects to get a feel of the market and the pulse of the consumer, he set up Blissspace in 2016.

Hailing from a family of architects, Paul has grown up in an atmosphere that brought the architectural world to dinner table conversations; thanks to his grandfather, father, and uncles who are all architects. Paul began designing since he was 12 years old and it is apparent that architecture and designing is in his blood.

When he moved to Goa and began with small projects including his own home, he saw a glaring gap in the market when it came to modular kitchens, wardrobe spaces, bathrooms and more.

After a few years of research, Paul set up Blissspace and since then has expanded the business to become a well-known, bespoke modular kitchen, vanity, and wardrobe brand in Goa.

Blissspace’s USP is that everything is factory-made but completely customised. They not only deal in modular kitchens but also in bathroom vanities, wardrobes, and bespoke furniture. They design and make anything that is required for modern, comfortable, and sleek living spaces, working in collaboration with the client.

At Blissspace, the first step is an in depth consultation with the in-house experts, followed by a site visit where detailed measurements of the space are taken. These measurements are then handed over to the designers who take it forward from there. A specific wish-list is made in consultation with the client as to what they want in their kitchens. The clients are welcomed to the showroom so that they can see everything on display. Paul says that a lot of
times the clients have an idea of what they want but their vision changes completely after consultation and seeing what is on offer. “They see a lot of things that they have never seen before and say they want a little bit of everything. Based on the size of their kitchens, we design their spaces accordingly,” he adds.

Blissspace deals with premium brands like Hettich, Hafele, Aristo, Spitze, Blanco, and Caesarstone; to name a few.
Paul and his team mostly create residential spaces and deal with homeowners, builders, architects and interior designers.

Depending on the budget and clients’ requirements, spoiled for choice with over 500+ designs, colours, textures and finishes, Blissspace offers everyone an opportunity to have their dream kitchen, wardrobe, and vanity at an extremely affordable price.

With regards to the future plans of the company, Paul says that they will be opening a branch in South Goa within the next six months. They also plan on expanding into office furniture and adding even more designers to the team.

In their showroom at Patto, they are setting up a training centre so that new designers can be trained in designing customised spaces, which are the need of the hour.

Paul signs off with a message to aspiring designers and entrepreneurs. “Work hard, never give up, and keep going. You will have good days and bad days but there is always light at the end of the tunnel.”
