Fernando Amaral Fernandes, Assistant Hotel Manager from Ginger Goa Cluster, The Indian Hotels Company Limited has been felicitated with the BW Hotelier Award for Front Office Manager of the Year (West) 2021-22 at a grand ceremony held at Taj Palace New Delhi, recently. This award has been conferred by a jury panel comprising of seasoned hoteliers after meticulously sifting through 900 applicants across all hotel categories from Western India Region.
Fernando, a seasoned travel and hospitality professional with over 14 years of experience, holds a Hotel Management degree from the prestigious Institute of Hotel Management, Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition, Goa and a Marketing Master’s from Symbiosis, Pune.
He is also an FSSAI certified Food Safety Master Trainer and holds an Advanced Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification helping him perform internal brand and process audits within the company. His hobbies include adventure sports, photography, concept art and non-fungible tokens (NFTs).
