Italian company Eurostampa, boasting over 55 years of printing expertise, formalised a significant partnership recently. The company signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Don Bosco College of Engineering, Fatorda (DBCE), aiming for a long-term collaboration focusing on placements and student exchange for internship programs. Eurostampa, initially founded in Italy, has expanded to six other locations, including the USA, UK, France, and Mexico, and recently announced its upcoming seventh location in Goa by 2024. During the signing ceremony, Luciano Cillario, Founder and President of Eurostampa Holdings, along with representatives from Eurostampa India and DBCE, exchanged MoUs to strengthen the academia-industry connection. Cillario expressed his satisfaction with the association, emphasising Eurostampa’s people-centric values and commitment to shared
prosperity. The company, following rounds of interviews in July, is currently providing training to four students from the college. Director Fr Kinley D’Cruz conveyed gratitude, stating, “We will not let you down; the bonds between us will grow stronger by the day.” DBCE Principal Dr Neena Panandikar expressed pride in the collaboration with Eurostampa, highlighting the significance of the MoU with the esteemed company, especially as it establishes its seventh plant in Goa. She anticipates a fruitful alliance bridging the gap between academia and industry
