Global hospitality chain, Hilton, expanded its footprint in the country by launching Double Tree by Hilton in Goa – Panaji on October 24, 2018. This launch marks Hilton’s 18th property in India. A unit of Goldfinch Hotels (part of MRG Group) and managed by Hilton, the 160-room hotel, reiterates Hilton’s aim to double its presence in the country over the next few years.
Chairman of the MRG Group, K. Prakash Shetty, said, “This resort is testimony to my vision to bring world class hospitality to Goa by partnering with Hilton. I am extremely happy to launch my resort in Panaji under our hospitality arm – Goldfinch Hotels. We have augmented a number of products and services across the property to deliver bespoke guest experiences to cater to the needs of global citizens. This resort will also be the first in Goa to offer Mangalorean cuisine at its specialty restaurant Feliz.”
