CII-IWN (Indian Women Network) engages with young lady engineers from Don Bosco College of Engineering, Fatorda Goa

CII – IWN (Indian Women Network), Goa Chapter organised an Interactive Session on 9th June 2022 with the young lady engineers in the making at the Don Bosco College of Engineering, Fatorda Goa.

The launch and details of the Student Chapter of IWN was explained and the benefits of the same were elaborated. In its ongoing endeavour to reach out to budding women corporate professionals,

To mentor and guide girl students, CII – IWN has embarked on a series of programs in all its student chapters. This special initiative spearheaded by the Indian Women Network – Goa Chapter from the West Region comprising of states like Gujarat, Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh is getting good response from educational institutes. The idea is to enrol and induct the girls while they are still studying and assist them as they grow into competent women corporate professionals. Along with this, IWN also fosters various other programs for ladies like Personal Branding, Mentoring, Learning modules for specific requirements and so on.

The program received enthusiastic participation from the faculty members and the girl students also. DBCE College’s Principal Dr. Neena Panandikar and faculty members Melba D’Souza, Janhavi Naik and Vaishali were also present on the occasion.  IWN was represented by Chairperson Sheetal Pai Kane and core committee member Sonia Kuncalienker.
