How Lucky Singh grew Neelkanth Agencies into one of Goa’s leading construction material hubs
Established on 26th January 2004 by Lucky Singh, Neelkanth Agencies has grown from being one among 350 cement dealers in Goa to becoming one of the top five cement distributors in the state. With over two decades of experience, the company has earned a solid reputation in the cement and construction materials sector catering to diverse project needs across Goa.
Lucky Singh began his journey working in his father’s contracting business for the Ministry of Defence. During this time, he realised the pricing gaps in cement supply and started trading cement on a small scale. What began as a casual initiative soon
turned into a passion leading to the foundation of Neelkanth Agencies with a focus on reliable supplies, quality products and strong client relationships.
A major milestone came in 2010 when The India Cements Ltd appointed Neelkanth Agencies as its Clearing and Forwarding Agent (CFA) for Goa. This strengthened the company’s market position and helped it establish trusted partnerships with leading brands like ACC, JSW, Dalmia Cement, SAIL TMT, Amba Shakti TMT and Birla White.
Neelkanth Agencies’ diverse product range includes OPC and blended cement, AAC lightweight blocks, jointing mortar, ready-mix plaster, ready-mix concrete, TMT bars and Birla White products. By maintaining a First-In-First-Out (FIFO) stock system and direct company-level supply management, the company ensures fresh stocks, competitive pricing and efficient service.
Over the years, the firm has contributed to over 200 successful projects including landmark works like the Dabolim Airport Runway project and Mall De Goa. These projects tested the company’s efficiency and commitment and Neelkanth’s ability to deliver on time despite market challenges, cementing its credibility in the industry.

sence in Goa while also expanding into international exports. Neelkanth now supplies construction materials to Canada, Australia, Africa, the UAE and Nepal with plans to explore Europe and the UK in the near future.
