The Women’s Wing of Goa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) jointly with FiiRE – Forum for Innovation, Incubation, Research and Entrepreneurship- Government of India and powered by Geno Foundation conducted its 4th edition of Business Diva – Business Diva 2023. The Chief Guest of the function was the MLA of Poriem and Chairperson Goa Forest Development Corporation (GFDC), Dr. Deviya Rane, and Guests of Honour were Deepali Naik – Director, Women and Child Development Department, Government of Goa, and Pratima Dhond – Vice President GCCI.
The event is a business idea competition for women, focusing on innovative solutions to women-centric issues and problems. The Business Diva Competition 2023 aims to impact and uplift more women entrepreneurs through entrepreneurship. The competition is in three categories –startups (Businesses in existence for less than 2 years), Scale-up (Businesses in existence for more than 2 years), and Self-help groups.
The welcome address was delivered by Pallavi Salgaocar- Chairperson GCCI- Women’s Wing, Risha Hegde who represented FiiRE explained how the program was conducted over the last 2 months and the vote of thanks was given by GCCI – Women’s Wing member Sonali Nagvekar. The function was compered by WW member Asha Arondekar.

The Chief Guest in her speech applauded GCCI- Women’s Wing for their good work through various programs and congratulated the winners and participants. The winners were given cash prizes, mementos, and incubation by FiiRE.
