Amit Chopra elected President of National Association of Realtors

The Goa Association of Realtors (GAR), chairman Amit Chopra has been elected as the new president of the National Association of Realtors, India (NAR) for 2023-24. NAR, a member of the Central RERA Consultative Council is the country’s largest representative body and advocacy group for those involved in the business of real estate transaction advisory services.

NAR is a non-profit organisation that was formed in 2008 and created to be the collective voice of the realtors in India. It provides support and education for realtors all over the country through its 44-member state and city associations including the GAR. Chopra, director Escala Realty served as the founder- chairman of GAR from 2015-2018 followed by two more terms as president from 2018 to 2022.

Since July 2022, Chopra has served as chairman once more and is the association’s honorary head
