Aisha de Sequeira was recently featured on Fortune’s Most Powerful Women of 2018, ranked at #12. Aisha holds a bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Goa University and a post-graduate degree from the Yale School of Management. Aisha started working at Morgan Stanley completing 11 years at the same organisation before moving on to build Morgan Stanley’s India presence. In 2007, she took over the presiding role in India. With Aisha at the helm, Morgan Stanley took centre stage last year as the giant of the investment banking world. The $23 billion merger between Idea Cellular and Vodafone India was one of the key reasons for the top slot. For Aisha things will continue to be exciting as India’s IPO pipeline has become stronger and several large ticket M&A transactions are in the offing
