Pernem’s resident All India Institute of Ayurveda has effectively struck a partnership with several renowned and leading institutions in an effort to boost the state’s progress in the field of research.
The union also includes CSIR-National Institute of Oceanography, Goa Department of Tourism, Goa State Biodiversity Board, Goa Institute of Management, Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani, Goa.
The affiliation with CSIR-National Institute of Oceanography aims to implement valiant efforts by working in unison and exercising both arsenals to the advantage of research development as well as detecting any new areas in which the expertise would prove to be valuable.
AIIA Goa looks to amplify the tourism landscape with regards to its medical aspects with the newly wound ties with the Department of Tourism. Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, Sowa-Rigpa, and Homeopathy (AYUSH) will be especially highlighted through intensive promotion as progress on Goa’s wellness tourism subsector.
Conservational and sustainability development, along with a vivid focus on the connection between traditional medical understanding and the awareness of the society is the coherent goal of the agreement between the Goa State Biodiversity Board and the All India Institute of Ayurveda.
The ties with Goa Institute of Management will revolve around healthcare innovation through shared expertise, technology and faculty with a common base of Ayurvedic practices and interdisciplinary studies.
BITS Pilani and AIIA Goa join forces with the intention to encourage collaborative efforts in research projects involving expertise from both organisations. An intricately detailed outline will be put into practice in order for the affiliations to come to fruition without dismissing the possibility of eureka research findings surfacing naturally.
