The Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM) Goa State Council, in association with the Government of Goa, is organising the Agriculture Conclave 2025 on 8th October 2025 at Taj Vivanta, Panaji, Goa.
India’s agriculture sector remains a cornerstone of the nation’s economic growth, rural development, and global trade ambitions. Transforming this vital sector through technological integration, climate resilience, and farmer-centric policies is essential to realising the vision of Viksit Bharat. Prioritising agricultural advancement will enable India to fully harness its immense potential and ensure sustainable prosperity for future generations.
To accelerate progress towards this goal, there is a pressing need to foster synergies among key stakeholders, promote innovation, facilitate technological integration and business development, strengthen market linkages, and build robust agro-industrial ecosystems.
The forthcoming Conclave aims to bring together policymakers, industry leaders, experts, and stakeholders from across the agricultural and allied sectors to deliberate on critical challenges and design a collaborative roadmap for sectoral transformation.
The event will feature impactful and thought-provoking sessions on emerging technologies, climate-resilient and sustainable farming practices, and innovation in the agri-value chain. High-level policy roundtables, CEO forums, and innovation showcases will provide a platform for dialogue, partnership, and strategic collaboration across the agriculture and agro-industrial landscape.
A key focus of the Conclave will be to develop actionable recommendations for the Goa Agriculture Policy 2025, aimed at strengthening the ecosystem for agricultural and agro-industrial innovation, enhancing export readiness, and improving international market penetration.
Participants will have the opportunity to network with leading professionals, gain insights into recent sectoral developments, and explore opportunities for business collaboration and policy advancement.
The Conclave will be graced by Mauvin Godinho, Minister for Industries, Transport, Panchayats, Protocol & Legislative Assembly, Government of Goa, as the Chief Guest, and Arjun Mohan, IAS, Secretary to the Governor and Secretary, Agriculture & Rural Development Department, Government of Goa, as the Guest of Honour.
