On occasion of its 53rd Founder’s Day, Murgaon Education Society (MES) felicitated Sr Advocate Atmaram Nadkarni with the ‘Abhimanshri Award’. A leading lawyer in Supreme Court, Sr Advocate Nadkarni has contributed greatly to the field of law. The Award, first given in 2021 by the educational institution, carries a purse of 1 lakh Rupees and a citation; and is bestowed upon outstanding citizens of the state who have contributed to their respective fields.
Nadkarni was twice Advocate General of Goa. In 2014, he was appointed Additional Solicitor General of India at the Supreme Court in New Delhi, where he runs a busy practice today. He has argued many matters of constitutional importance
