The 15th edition of the Tata Crucible Quiz will be held across 25 cities in India. Kicking off the marathon quizzing event on August 5, in Visakhapatnam, the Goa round will be held on September 27 at Vivanta by Taj, Panaji.
Celebrating the 150th anniversary of the Tata Group, the theme of the quiz this year is ‘150 Years of Business’. Known for its exciting and novel formats, the quiz is open for participants from both Tata and non-Tata corporates.
To ace this competition, participating teams need deep business acumen, strategic thinking and the ability to take risks, along with teamwork. A team of two employees from an organisation can participate in the regional round of the city close to their work location. The winning team from each regional round will qualify for the zonal rounds, and the top two zonal teams will compete for the national title in Mumbai, later this year.
The national winning team will be awarded a cash prize of ₹5 lakh, along with the coveted Tata Crucible trophy. The regional winners and runners-up will receive cash prizes of ₹75,000 and ₹35,000 respectively.
The quiz will be conducted by renowned quizmaster Giri Balasubramaniam, also known as ‘Pickbrain’, who has been conducting the quiz ever since its inception in 2004.
