The Rajesh Dempo led group has forayed into new avenues of the hospitality business
With the launch of their new hospitality brand Tangere Hotels and Resorts, Dempo Vision has moved leaps and bounds in the hospitality sector with the acquisition of three new properties to be developed under its new brand.
The new brand name, Tangere Hotels & Resorts, has been unveiled with the intention of touching the hearts of their guests through personalised service, thus bringing out positive emotions in them.
Chief Minister of Goa Dr Pramod Sawant, launched the brand at a glittering function held at the Crown Goa Hotel in Panaji.
Having promoted The Crown Goa Hotel, a boutique property in Panjim, Rajesh Dempo, the managing director of the Dempo Vision Group is now looking to target various other hotel segments which include business hotels and resorts.
“It’s an exciting time for us in the hospitality business, as Goa will remain one of the world’s most sought-after destinations for a long time to come. With the pro-tourism policies being incorporated by our Chief Minister and the tourism department, we feel sure that Goa will continue to thrive as India’s tourism hub”, said Rajesh Dempo while speaking at the launch of Rangere.
Congratulating Rajesh Dempo on his new initiative in the hospitality industry, Chief Minister Dr Pramod Sawant said that there is no slow down in the tourism industry, but it is the beginning of glad tidings to come. New tourism related policies are being formulated with various stakeholders including TTAG, said the Chief Minsiter. He also opined that tourism should not be seen as just a two or three day visit to Goa for sun, sand and sea but new options such as eco-tourism and hinterland tourism should be developed.

The Skyy Deck venue at the Crown Goa hotel was also inaugurated with the launch of its new restaurant ‘Oriano’ which specialises in Italian and Continental cuisine and provides for an exciting party venue with a breath taking view of the River Mandovi
