Over 100 entrepreneurs and business leaders gathered in Panjim for the launch of Business Inner Circle (BIC) with renowned business coach Rajiv Talreja. The event reflected Goa’s growing focus on business growth, mentorship, and leadership development
Novotel Panjim played host to a gathering recently, that reflected a growing shift within Goa’s entrepreneurial landscape. More than 100 business owners, entrepreneurs, and industry leaders came together for an exclusive Meet & Greet with business coach and entrepreneur Rajiv Talreja, marking the official launch of Business Inner Circle (BIC) in Goa.
The response itself was noteworthy. Held on a Sunday morning and attended strictly by invitation, the event drew participants from a diverse range of industries, underscoring the increasing appetite among Goan business owners for structured growth, professional development, and peer learning.

Over the last two decades, Rajiv Talreja has emerged as one of India’s leading mentors to the MSME sector. Through his work, he has impacted over 8 lakh businesses across more than 180 industries, helping entrepreneurs move beyond day-to-day firefighting and build organizations capable of sustained growth.
During the session, Rajiv challenged attendees to rethink their role as business owners. He introduced four broad categories of entrepreneurs; Identity Driven, Income Driven, Financial Freedom Driven, and Legacy Driven; and explored how each stage requires a different mindset, set of priorities, and approach to business building. The discussion centred on a fundamental question faced by many entrepreneurs: are we merely running businesses, or are we building organizations that can grow beyond our direct involvement?
The session also featured an interactive question-and-answer segment where business owners from varied sectors shared real-world challenges. Rather than offering generic advice, Rajiv focused on practical frameworks for growth, leadership, delegation, and strategic decision-making, making the discussion highly relevant to businesses at different stages of their journey.
What distinguishes Rajiv’s work from many traditional business coaching approaches is his belief that sustainable business growth begins with the growth of the entrepreneur. While systems, strategy, marketing, and finance remain essential, he argues that the greatest bottleneck in any business is often the business owner themselves. His coaching therefore extends beyond business metrics into areas such as leadership development, decision-making, mindset, emotional resilience, communication, and personal effectiveness. The objective is not simply to build larger businesses, but to develop stronger entrepreneurs who are equipped to navigate growth, uncertainty, and change long after the coaching engagement itself has ended.
This philosophy resonated strongly with many of the attendees. Across Goa, there are numerous successful businesses that have been built through hard work, perseverance, and entrepreneurial instinct. Yet many owners find themselves at crossroads where further growth requires new systems, stronger teams, better leadership structures, and a shift from working in the business to working on it.
It is this gap that the Business Inner Circle seeks to address. Unlike traditional networking groups, BIC is designed as a business growth ecosystem where entrepreneurs learn, implement, and hold one another accountable. The focus is on helping business owners build scalable systems, strengthen leadership teams, improve operational efficiency, and create businesses that are less dependent on the owner’s constant involvement.
The launch of BIC comes at an interesting time for Goa. As the state’s economy continues to diversify and mature, many local enterprises are looking beyond stability and towards scale. Entrepreneurs are increasingly seeking access to mentorship, proven growth frameworks, and communities of like-minded business owners who understand the challenges of building and growing a company. The enthusiasm surrounding the launch suggests that Goa’s business community is ready for this next phase. More importantly, it highlights a broader trend: the emergence of a more collaborative, growth-oriented entrepreneurial ecosystem within the state.
For many attendees, the event was not simply a seminar. It was an opportunity to engage with new ideas, connect with fellow entrepreneurs, and explore what is possible when business owners invest not only in their companies, but also in their own growth as leaders.
As Goa’s MSME sector continues to evolve, initiatives such as the Business Inner Circle may play an increasingly important role in helping entrepreneurs transform successful businesses into scalable, sustainable enterprises capable of creating long-term economic impact for Goa
