Kineco Aerospace has signed a USD 9 million contract with a leading global defence UAV manufacturer for the supply of advanced composite airframes and critical structural assemblies for next-generation #MALE (Medium Altitude Long Endurance) UAV platforms.
The contract strengthens Kineco’s position as a trusted advanced composites partner in the rapidly growing unmanned defence systems market. Till date, the company has delivered over 100 Advanced Composite Airframes and hull structures for defence unmanned systems programmes serving both global OEMs and Indian strategic partners.
Building on this momentum, Kineco plans to establish a dedicated Centre of Excellence for Unmanned Systems Structures, focused on the design, engineering, prototyping, and manufacture of advanced composite structures for UAVs, Loitering Munitions, Unmanned Surface Vessels (USVs), and Unmanned Underwater Vehicles (UUVs).
With over 30 years of experience in aerospace, defence, naval, and space composites, Kineco has delivered more than 40 Sonar Domes for frontline naval warships, critical composite components for strategic missile programmes, and flight-critical structures for global aerospace platforms.
Vivek Srivastava, Group CEO & Board Member of Kineco Limited – World of Composites, said:
“This contract validates Kineco’s growing role in the global unmanned systems ecosystem. Our planned Centre of Excellence reflects our commitment to becoming a globally trusted partner for advanced composite structures supporting next-generation #UAV, maritime, and autonomous platforms. We believe India is well positioned to emerge as a global hub for advanced defence and aerospace manufacturing, and Kineco intends to play a significant role in that journey.”
The initiative aligns with India’s vision for defence indigenisation, self-reliance, and export-led growth in advanced aerospace and strategic systems.
