Chartered Accountant, entrepreneur and columnist Pallavi Salgaocar officially launched the paperback edition of her second book, Enterprise India: Stories, Ideas and Insights, at a function held on June 5, 2026 at Terminal Banquet Hall, Caculo Mall, Panjim.
The event was graced by Chief Guest Smt. Delilah Lobo, MLA – Siolim Constituency, along with Guests of Honour Smt. Pratima Dhond, President – GCCI, and Shri Manguirish Raikar, Ex-Chairman – ASSOCHAM Goa.
The book is a collection of articles and reflections on entrepreneurship, MSMEs, women-led enterprises, sustainability, exports, business growth and practical industry insights. Written in simple and relatable language, the book aims to bridge the gap between policy, opportunity and grassroots entrepreneurship.
Speaking at the event, author Pallavi Salgaocar shared that Enterprise India is an attempt to simplify business concepts and make meaningful knowledge more accessible to everyday entrepreneurs, professionals and aspiring business owners.
Chief Guest Hon. MLA Smt. Delilah Lobo congratulated Pallavi Salgaocar on recently being conferred the Punyashlok Ahilya Devi Holkar Nari Shakti Sanman 2026 at the hands of Hon. Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant. She appreciated Pallavi Salgaocar’s ability to successfully multitask while simultaneously pursuing her passion for writing.
Guests of Honour Smt. Pratima Dhond and Shri Manguirish Raikar also emphasised how the book would empower entrepreneurs and aspiring business owners to build and strengthen their enterprises through practical knowledge and insights.
Pallavi Salgaocar is the Finance Director at Geno Pharmaceuticals Pvt Ltd, Goa State President of Laghu Udyog Bharati – a national association for MSMEs, founder of the Desserts N More bakery chain in Goa, and a member of the Managing Committee of GCCI. She regularly writes for various publications on business, entrepreneurship and MSME-related subjects.
This is her second book. Her first book, Desserts First, was released in 2011.
Also present at the event was Dr. Sagar Salgaocar, Chairman of ASSOCHAM Goa, who proposed the Vote of Thanks. The programme was compered by Shivam Salgaocar.
The event witnessed the presence of entrepreneurs, industry representatives, professionals, media personnel, family and well-wishers.
Enterprise India: Stories, Ideas and Insights is currently available in Kindle edition and paperback format on Amazon and will shortly be available at Broadway and other bookstores across the State.
