As the festive season takes over globally, Ulhas Jewellers, a prestigious jewellery store in Margao, Goa, unveiled a magnificent 40-foot Christmas tree for public enjoyment.
The iconic tree, inaugurated on December 3, 2024, stands proudly opposite the Margao Municipal Garden in the heart of the city. The grand unveiling ceremony was graced by the presence of Digambar Kamat, MLA of Margao who delivered a heartfelt speech commending Ulhas Jewellers for their innovative initiative to bring a touch of European Christmas charm to Margao.
The event featured live carol performances by Placido’s Choir, a Santa meet-and-greet with delightful toys and gifts for children, as well as complimentary snacks for attendees.
Gift hampers were awarded to spot prize winners, with Wenzel Soares announced as the recipient of two platinum passes for the Fr. Rob Galea concert, held on December 7th and 8th, 2024.
