One of the oldest and leading manufacturers of calcined petroleum coke (CPC), Goa Carbon Ltd announced the launch of its first branded product. The branded product, gcarb+, is aimed at revolutionising the re-carburiser and carbon additive markets.
Goa Carbon has several manufacturing units located across India which serves the aluminum, steel and foundry sectors. The new product, gcarb+, highlights the company’s commitment to quality, sustainability and industry leadership with the intent to provide total carbon solutions.
Derived from raw materials which have been sourced globally and comes with guaranteed specifications, gcarb+ has low sulphur content. This significantly reduces harmful emissions thus supporting environmental sustainability.
Shrinivas V Dempo, Chairman, Dempo Group of Companies and President of the Goa Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI), attended the launch event. Anupam Misra, Executive Director, Goa Carbon was also present along with other senior officials of the Dempo Group and all three units.
