Chosen by an eclectic jury after a robust two-phase methodology, the winners of India’s most widely participated jewellery retail awards were honoured at a grand ceremony held on August 10th, 2018 at the J W Marriott, Sahar, Mumbai to celebrate the highest achievers in India’s dynamic jewellery industry. The Retail Jeweller India Awards 2018 is an elite circle of excellence, and is also regarded as the ‘Oscars of the jewellery industry’.
The exciting affair was graced by celebrated personalities and stars of the silver screen including Raveena Tandon and Bollywood actress Saiyami Kher. With notable names and leaders from across the jewellery industry in attendance, the 14th Fura Retail Jeweller India Awards 2018 expanded to 20 categories and with only five of the finest creations making it to each category. A total of 100 masterpieces were nominated and evaluated by a high-profile grand jury of experts including jewellery connoisseurs Michelle Poonawalla, Nawaz Modi Singhania, Perizaad Zorabian, Namrata Baruwa Shroff, and Devita Saraf. The Top 100 Precious Jewellery Designs of India showcasing the collective excellence of some of the top retail houses in the country were on display at the venue.
